When I heard that Rimmel designed Volume Flash Max Bold Curves mascara ($7) to boost lash book by 1,400% (OOH!) and elevator by seventy% (ahh…), information technology was like teasing a domestic dog with a slice of bacon.

I gave the waterproof version of Max Volume Flash a attempt last week, and while it didn't pump upward the volume of my lashes as much equally I'd hoped information technology would, I kept my fingers crossed for Bold Curves. Well, my prayers went partially answered. I mean, I detect a difference in length and thickness as well as above-average lash lift, and the formula does hold up nicely throughout twenty-four hour period, resisting smudges and flaking…
But the volume's goose egg to write home about, and certainly non what I expected based on Rimmel'due south ballsy claims. 🙁
After two layers of the stuff, my lashes start to wait kinda droopy (shoot!). They also stick together similar the mean girls on Projection Rails when they went afterward Michael C.
I practise like Max Bold'due south toll and chipper lime green packaging, and I think it would work well for budget-lurving lasses looking for a basic i-coat mascara for a bit of extra length, volume, definition and lift. I know it's been a while since Shauna's fabricated an appearance on the blog, just Tabs decided to share the limelight today. Shauna lives with my parents in the E Bay, and if you couldn't tell, she happens to be an aspiring photographic camera hound. 🙂
